After the timber has dried sufficinetly the wood can be used in the creation of the piece of funriture. The timber is transported to our workshop on the Isle of Skye where construction and finishing is carried out.

Depending on the design a variety of techniques are used to create the item. This stage can take some time due to the care and precision required to create a handmade peice of furniture.

Once the item of furniture is constructed a significant amount of time is spent finishing the item including sanding, application of laquers (to customers requirements) and polishing to achieve a finish of the higest quality and strength.
